Strength Training for Injury Rehab
Strength training for injury rehab doesn’t have to be boring!
I encourage my clients to seek out different ways to rehab. Different ways to strengthen their body.
When one part of your body is injured, for example you have injured your knee. In most cases a knee injury means you can’t do exercises like squats or lunges or any weighted leg exercise in the initial injury phase but you can do upper body work like swimming, some light upper body weights and perhaps some walking and agility exercises in the water.
Doing something different while we are injured provides us with an opportunity to strengthen other parts of our body, maintain good posture, maintain a level of health and fitness, learn something new about ourselves and offer a little bit of change of scenery.
Be healthy. Stay healthy.
